Living in Fontana
Living in Fontana
If you are thinking about moving to Fontana, you should get a good picture of what it would be like. What are the best suburbs? The most fun places to visit? What about the available activities in nature? And what could be some of the best restaurants? Well, don’t worry! We are here to help prepare you and give you a better picture of what living in Fontana is like!
Best suburbs
Eastvale
Sitting at around sixty thousand people, Eastvale is a nice, quiet place to live in. Its low unemployment rates and relatively low housing prices make it a perfect choice for young families to settle down in. The suburb also has some excellent schools, which is another point in favor of our previous claim.
Claremont
This suburb might be even better for families. If you have decided it is time to list your old house and move entirely because of your kids, this is the neighborhood to keep your eye on. While not offering quite as many job opportunities as Eastvale, Clermont has it beat in almost every category. The houses are cheaper. Costs of living are lower. Crime rates are near non-existent. And the schools can more than match those found in our previous entry.
Chino Hills
Admittedly the most beautiful suburb on our list, at least in the eyes of nature lovers! Unfortunately, it is just a tad bit more expensive than the previous two entries in the two housing categories and general cost of living. It also cannot claim to have the same quality of education to offer to its young minds. The typically larger properties will also let you get creative with making your home stand out!
Walnut
A much fancier suburb, it has the previous one beat regarding the quality of amenities and facilities in general. However, it is much more expensive, with double the housing costs of all previously mentioned. And the cost of living also follows, making this the second most expensive suburb on our list. Its offer of quality services does, however, make it a lot easier to find a good moving company on the verifiedmovers.com database. And that is important because you want to start the new chapter of your life on the right foot.
Yorba Linda
Perhaps the most popular suburb in Fontana is Yorba Linda. However, it is definitely not the place to learn how to buy your first home. The housing prices here are incredibly high, and while it is possible to find good deals, they require an experienced eye (or a very experienced realtor!) to pick up. The quality of amenities and services in the area does, however, reflect the high housing and living costs.
Fun places to visit
Center Stage Theater
Both a movie and live-performance theater, this lovely building has a lot of history behind it! And it even offers live dinner theatre, with plenty of excellent food to try while enjoying your show. It is a unique experience you should try at least once.
Auto Club Speedway
For the lovers of speed and racing, this is a must-stop. You will get to either enjoy a race or try out your hand at driving a sports car yourself. Just make sure you know what you are doing since it can still be dangerous even with supervision!
Fontana Park Aquatics Center
A perfect place to enjoy a day relaxing with your family! The myriad of attractions and fun water activities will keep your kids squealing in joy. And appropriately worn out so the whole family can get a proper break once you finally get back home.
New Realm VR
This fantastic store will let you experience what virtual reality systems have accomplished! If you love games and new tech, you will adore what they have to offer.
The Curiosity Shop Escape Room
This is, admittedly, just one of the many escape rooms the city offers. All of them are unique and fun, but we chose to single this one out because of its eerie atmosphere and fun yet challenging tasks it will throw at you.

Pancho Villa's Mexican Grill Restaurant & Entertainment
Offering outstanding live Mariachi performances and even more amazing food, this restaurant located on Cherry Avenue will blow you away. One thing is for sure, Fontana loves its Mexican food and has stringent requirements for it.
Sundowner’s Family Restaurant
Yet another restaurant on Sierra Avenue. Sundowners might seem a lot less fancy and a lot more basic than our other entries. However, it offers quality meals for low prices, and all the food is finger-licking delicious.

Observations to remember
Fontana is, overall, a family-focused city. Couples with young kids will thrive here, as you have likely been able to glean from our list! This, of course, does not mean the city is not attractive to others. Just keep in mind that living in Fontana is particularly convenient for young families.
