Hike The Valley   Jan. 4
Hikes average 2-5 miles in length, range from easy to difficult levels, and are led by City staff.  The fee includes all three hikes, shuttle service and a light snack. Transportation is available for participants from the Carolyn Owens Community Center. Hikers must supply their own water and comfortable, sturdy closed-toe hiking shoes or boots.

Battle Of The Badges Blood Drive   Jan. 9
The need for blood is constant and the Upland Police Department is on a mission to help save lives by collecting blood for hospital patients in need during the Battle of the Badges blood drive.  Join first responders in this friendly competition to see who can recruit the most eligible blood donors to join them in this lifesaving effort to donate and help ensure blood is on the shelves before it is needed.

Run with a Cop   Jan. 14
Students have the opportunity to Run with ACOP but also to help with Anti Childhood Obesity Project. The mission of Run with ACOP is to bring awareness and education for a healthy lifestyle to the youth of the community while building strong community partnerships. Each event will have a specialized team present. Some of the teams will include crime prevention, K-9 team, mounted team, and special response team.
