Lettuce Grow A Garden   Apr. 6

Hike the Valley   Apr. 8
Hike the Valley is a hiking program where participants are guided through local trails.  Hikes average 2-5 miles in length, range from easy to difficult levels, and are led by City staff. A light snack is included following each hike. Hike locations vary each month.

It’s a Kitten Shower!   Apr. 23
The Rancho Cucamonga Animal Care and Adoption Center is preparing to re-open our 24 hour Neonatal Kitten Nursery in May. Join us for a Nursery Orientation and learn how to become a nursery volunteer. Our nursery heavily relies on volunteer help to provide care for the approximately 1,000 underage kittens that enter our doors each year. Meet our staff, enjoy some light refreshments, and maybe even win a raffle prize. Want to help us stock our nursery? Our most needed items are: Iams Kitten dry food, Fancy Feast Kitten wet food – Turkey flavor, Gerber Baby Food jars – Turkey or Chicken flavor, Doggie pee pads, Snuggle Safe Discs (heating pad), Unscented baby wipes.

Legal Aid Workshop   Apr. 27
The Legal Aid Society of San Bernardino provides legal services to low income residents throughout the County. Qualified residents may receive free legal consultation on a broad spectrum of legal issues as well as affordable access to the legal system. Residents receive document preparation, step-by-step instructions to facilitate requests for court orders, and help navigating the court system.
