Soroptimists Present Stepping Up   Mar. 4
Soroptimist International of the Chino Valley, Inc. will present its 11th annual Stepping Up event. The event assists local sixth grade girls in making the transition from elementary school to junior high. It features speakers, a fashion show, games, lunch, prizes, and more. Challenge for Children Gala   Mar. 9
The gala is the Inland Empire United Way’s largest fundraiser benefiting programs geared toward youth-focused programs targeting health, education and poverty. More than 100,000 students were impacted, last year alone. Guests will enjoy an elegant evening featuring a hosted cocktail reception, gourmet dinner and live entertainment, in addition to a silent auction and opportunity drawings.

When a baker and his wife learn they’ve been cursed with childlessness by the witch next door, they embark on a quest for objects required to reverse the spell. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
